Vitamins are micronutrients and are essential to the human body. Vitmains are organic chemical compounds that the human body either doesn’t make enough of or doesn’t produce at all. So we need to get them from food.
For example, humans do not produce vitamin C.
Lack of vitamin C = Scurry
Vitamin C maintains collagen.
Vitamins are either water soluble or fat soluble.
Vitamins prevent illness and deficiency.

  • Digestion of Macronutrients 
  • Antioxidants 
  • Blood sugar regulation to prevent diabetes 
  • Contributes to bone health

  • Combats heart disease
  • Enhance the immune system 
  • Facilitates hormone regulation (Helps improve mood)
  • Helps with concentration, learning, and memory 

If you know your diet isn’t all too great, make sure to take vitamins daily to make up for what your missing in your nutrition.
